Child-led approach
As a smaller nursery, we aim to create a home-away-from-home atmosphere where children are able to flourish and grow as young individuals.
Outdoor space
Our spacious garden is unique and provides our children plenty of opportunities for physical play and exploration of the natural world.
Partnership nursery
Our children aged -5 are eligible for up to 1140 hours of early years funding from East Dunbartonshire Council, which equates to 30 hours per week in our nursery calendar.
Run by parents, not for profit
Maxholme Nursery School is a registered charity, run by a parent Committee, a Centre Manager and a team of qualified early years staff. Everything we do is geared toward creating a nurturing learning and play environment for the children.
A unique setting in the heart of Bearsden
Based not far from Bearsden Cross, our warming indoor environment and enclosed natural garden provides plenty of safe opportunities for learning through play. We are a term-time, school-hours nursery for children aged 2 to 5.
